About Me
My names Cloe and I love making headwear!
After a couple years of selling through instagram i've finally taken it a step up with a website, welcome!

My Story
I'm from Brisbane but now reside between Jindabyne, NSW, Aus and Park City, Utah, USA. Following the winter season year round. Currently I'm in Wollongong for a few months recovering from heart surgery. I did my first season in Jindy when i was 18 and never stopped. I work in full-time snowmaking and grooming in both Aus and the US. I love skiing in the park and in the backcountry!
I've Always loved having a creative outlet and started crocheting during covid (2020). Later down the line, learnt how to Tunisian crochet, knit and sew. It's kind of difficult to move around with all my craft gear, I have a sewing machine in Aus and in the US. As well as a yarn stash in both countries (crazy I know). Lugging that and my skis around would be way too much. I have friends who babysit my sewing machines in their off seasons and I take my crocheting/knitting needles with me.
I'm very inspired by ski culture fashion and the people I meet along the way. I would describe my personal style as punk/grunge, outdoorsy and practical. An all black outfit with a funky hat, sign me up! Every time I make an item it's something I would want to wear. I've only made the same thing twice a couple times, and i do not take commissions. If you ask me to make something I don't want to make, I simply wont do it, sorry!
In saying that, I'm forever grateful that people enjoy what I create and want to wear it. Seeing beanies and hats get around the ski hill feels surreal and so cool! Thanks for all the support I really appreciate it!!! <3
Materials
I strive to use 100% recycled and ethically made product. All my yarn is sourced from locally made and 100% natural fibres, or second hand stores. (There is sooo much yarn at the op shop). I also source most of my fabric from the op shop or deadstock sellers. Hence why not being able to make multiple of the same hat may not be an option. Up-cycling clothes into hats is also a common occurrence around here.
The only element of my hats that are hard to source ethically are cap brims and some haberdashery items. Much easier to access in USA but unfortunately not a lot of companies supply to 'hatters' around Australia. I will Always be keeping my eye out though!
Thanks for reading!
